The mission of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners is to reduce the incidence of fraud and white-collar crime and to assist the Membership in fraud detection and deterrence.

The Port Louis Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners is the 135th chapter among the other local chapters of ACFE International worldwide.
PLCACFE is a non-profit organization, and was established on 4 June 2010 . It was incorporated in 4 Jan 2010 with the primary purpose to serve the community by the promotion of improved fraud detection and deterrence through expansion of knowledge and the interaction of its members.
The need to raise the standard of fraud examination in Mauritius resulted in the establishment of a local chapter in 2010 . This chapter is a collection of individuals from all industries and professions, all with a single goal in mind; the reduction of Fraud in Mauritius.
While an official chapter of the International Association it is important to note that membership of the local chapter is optional and separate from that of the Association.
Chapter participation gives you the opportunity to meet other anti-fraud professionals in your area who are facing the same challenges you are. Sharing insights, techniques and experience, in addition to promoting fraud awareness in your community, is invaluable to the global fight against fraud.

Port Louis Local Chapter of the ACFE is the country’s leading anti-fraud organization and premier provider of anti-fraud training and education. Together with the PLCACFEs’ members, we create fraud awareness, reduce fraud and inspire public confidence in the integrity and objectivity of the Certified Fraud Examiners.
PLCACFE has memberships coming from both public and private sectors. It serves individuals of all job functions, Certified Fraud Examiners (CFEs) and non-CFEs; industries and levels of experience who are interested in the prevention, detection and deterrence of fraud.
PLCACFE has, in conjunction with the ACFE International, an effective disciplinary process in place to discipline our members and to maintain the standards required of a Certified Fraud Examiner on both the local and international level.
